Howlin’ Hank – his story

Some travellers look for destinations.

Hank looks for places most people never find.

Born near Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, Hank learned early that the farther you travel from the crowds, the better the stories become. While others stick to highways and well-marked attractions, Hank is drawn to gravel roads, northern routes, and the quiet places where the map starts to fade.

Like the wolf he represents, Hank is independent, observant, and comfortable on his own. He doesn’t need a crowd to enjoy the journey. In fact, he’d rather hear the wind in the trees than the noise of a busy city.

Preparation is second nature to him.

A full tank.

Extra supplies.

A paper map.

A backup plan.

And enough coffee to get through whatever adventure lies ahead.

Hank respects the land, travels responsibly, and believes that some of Saskatchewan’s greatest treasures are hidden beyond the places most travellers ever see.

His friends know him as the guy who always seems to discover the perfect campsite, the scenic overlook nobody talks about, or the little roadside diner that’s somehow missing from every travel guide.

He isn’t chasing attention.

He’s chasing discovery.

His dream is simple.

To find what lies beyond the edge of the map.

Because Hank believes adventure begins the moment you’re willing to leave the familiar behind.

As one of the Animals of Rumble, Howlin’ Hank represents self-reliance, exploration, and the quiet confidence that comes from knowing how to look after yourself wherever the road leads.

If you meet Hank on your travels, don’t expect a long conversation.

But if he recommends a road, take it.

He’s probably found something worth seeing.

Hank’s Motto

“Where the signal ends, the adventure begins.”

Fun Fact: 💡 Hank considers losing cell service a sign he’s finally headed in the right direction.
